EN-49228 Laser Drive Belt Alignment Tool

Application: All trucks and cars with V8 engine and hydraulic power steering

EN-49228 is used to check alignment of the power steering pump pulley on V8 engines with hydraulic power steering. Once EN-49228 is placed in the grooves of the power steering pump pulley, the included strap is used to secure it in place, and the laser turned on. The laser is then oriented towards the balancer pulley, where it should high-light the 2^nd rib from the front. If the laser does not high-light the 2^nd rib, the pulley installation on the power steering pump must be checked and corrected. EN-49228 includes glasses with red lenses to protect against accidental laser exposure.

CAUTION: DO NOT LOOK AT THE LASER, OR POINT IT AT ANYBODY’S EYES!
