Applications: Detroit Diesel 50 and 60 Series

This tool is used to pilot the cam gear. Includes J-35906-4 bolt for early model Series 60.

Warning: Late model Series 60 also require adapter ST-256/J-35906-6A. There is no specific year cutoff and many manuals don't mention the adapter.

NOTE:

Tool: AM-5881, ST-S925 - Contains a COURSE and FINE thread pilot bolt
Tool: J-35906, ST-255 - Contains a COURSE thread bolt only.
Tool: ST-256, J-35906-6A - Contains a FINE thread bolt only.
